The topic was about the seasonal event called "SETSUBUN".
This year was elementary information about it.
今回のテーマは節分。
今年は、節分初級編をお送りしました。

1: MAMEMAKI --- Through dry fried soy beans at "ONI" to drive it away from your home.
ONI represents badness could happen that year.

　　豆まき―――　いり豆を鬼に投げつけて、厄をはらいます。

2: EHOUMAKI --- It is a rolled suchi which you eat that day.
You need to eat looking at one direction. that direction is called EHOU.
EHOU changes every year and there are 4 direction in total.
Do you remember? Which is this year's EHOU.
When you eat EHOUMAKI the sushi roll, you should not cut it up and
eat whole thing without a word until you finish it.

　　恵方巻　---　この日に食べられる太巻きです。
　　　　食べるときには恵方を向いて食べます。
　　　　この恵方は毎年変わりますが、４方向しかありません。
　　　　今年の恵方はどちらか覚えていますか？　
　　　　恵方巻きを食べるときは、切り分けずに、１本を言葉を交わさず食べ終えます。

SESTUBUN is on Feb 3rd, every year.
節分は、毎年2月3日です。

This year we are introducing some services available and might

今年は、このコーナーで香川県にあるサービスについてご紹介していこうと
思います。

As an example, this week and next week we are introducing
what we do on our day job.
その例として、今週、来週と私たちが普段は何の仕事をしているのかをご紹介させていただこうと思います。

This week we introduced PANDA STUDIO KAGAWA.
Panda Studio Kagawa is a studio produce e-learning videos.
They are not only producing e-learning videos, but
also they have a good business plan for teachers to start
e-learning business.
今週は、パンダスタジオ香川。
パンダスタジオ香川は、もともとeラーニングの教材動画を製作するスタジオです。
動画を製作するだけではなく、費用を心配することなく始められるシステムもあります。

The most interesting plan they have is "Revenue Share Package".
When you start the course, you don't need to pay for the producing video lessons in advance.
Once the course are sold, people who are involved in shares the sales.
It is aprox. 30% each.
To teacher, to sales ( the division where provide the class on line), and Studio.

I have shown a data from Ministry of health, labour and welfare press release.
We could see that people in 20's - 40's shows up at a hospital and reported Flu.
But people in 1-9 years old and 70's, 80's and over were most case of people
who were hospitalized most.
今回、厚生労働省のプレスリリースから2つのデータを紹介しました。
新しくインフルエンザであると報告された世代には、20代～４０代が多いのに対し、
インフルエンザで入院した事例では、１～９歳、70代、８０代以上が多かったのです。

I think this could tells us that 20's - 40's are the ones who are passing the virus.
I heard one office where are about 200 people have their desk on one floor have been
impacted by flu this week in Takamatsu. And 5-10% of people are absent from work.
このデータは日ごろ忙しい20代～４０代がインフルエンザを広げているのではと思ったのです。
今週とある事業所で、全体の5～１０％がインフルエンザで欠勤しているところがあると聞きました。
そこは、一つの大きなフロアに壁もなく、２００人近くが机を並べる事業所です。
これは、私があのプレスリリースから読み取った情報をそのまま映し出したような事象ではないでしょうか。

This information made me rethought about what I spoke today.

It is our responsibility that not to get the flu and not to pass it.
今、働き盛りの私たちの責任は「うつらない」「うつさない」です。

Please do under estimate flu.
働き盛りの私たちが死ぬことは稀なインフルエンザだからといって、
決してその感染力を過小評価しないようにしていきましょう。

Today, I spoke my experience in abroad and introduced odd signs of toilet door.
These are just some example and not all.
But I hope it could help.
今日は、私の体験と、変わったトイレの表示について紹介しました。

GET ACTIVE

On this episode, we introduced how to get IruCa Card.
IruCa is a prepaid IC money card which you can use it for KOTODEN transportation fee,
and do shopping with at some shops.
今回は、ICマネーカード、IruCaカードの取得方法を紹介しました。
ことでんの電車・バスの運賃支払いに使えて、お買い物もできる便利なカード。

This card does not attached to your credit card information that
you do not have to worried so much.
このカードはクレジットカードの番号を登録する必要がないので、何かと安心。

On this blog, let's go over the part of "How to write application form",
and "Which train station we can get IruCa Card".
このブログでは、申込書の書き方と、IruCaを申し込める駅をおさらいしましょう！

This is what the application form looks like.

これが、申込書。

The part you need to fill is these 3 big blocks.

記入するのはこの3つの四角の中。

This is the column which you write in the amount you want to prepaid.

As you can see above, 500yen will be taken as deposit.

So what you can actually use is 500 yen less than what you wrote and paid.

You can put in from 1,000 yen.

ここで、IruCaに入れる金額を書きます。

保証金として500円がここから引かれます。

運賃などにつかえるのは、この５００円を引いた額です。

1,000円から始めることができます。

The personal information part.

さて、個人情報欄。

As you can see above, please do not mistake which box is for family name.

Pronunciation of you name has to be written in KATAKANA.

I advise you to practice it.

You will have more chance that this skill will be required, as longer you stay here.

姓と名の位置を間違わないようにね！

読み仮名はカタカナで書きます。

自分の名前をカタカナで書く練習をすることをお勧めします。

ここだけではなく、長く日本にいればいるほど、このスキルを使う機会に遭遇しますよ。

For the address, I recommend you to practice how to write your address in JAPANESE.

Because, as long as you stay here, most and any kind of forms has a part you need to

fill your address in Japanese.

住所です。これもやはり、自分の住所は日本語で書けるようになる練習をするのを

お勧めします。どんな申込書でも住所は日本語で書く欄がついてくるものです。

Phone number.

I applied for mine with my mobile number.

I had no problem at all.

電話番号ですが・・・

私自身今回、携帯の番号で申し込みました。

まったく問題ありませんでしたよ。

Don't Get Fooled by Kanji

Tonight, we went through tiny Kanji shows up on drink vending machine

once in a while.

時折、自動販売機に現れる小さな２つの漢字を紹介しました。

/JUN BI CHU/

This means "Under preparation".

In this case, the drink is not hot enough or chilled enough.

/URI KI RE/

This one is easy.

SOLD OUT.

You see these kanjis at other places.

If you know it, it could come in handy.

これらの漢字は、他の場所でもよく見かけますので、

知っておくと便利ですよ。
