We went to a barber to tell us how to order hair style with simple Japanese.

理髪店に出向き、簡単な日本語で髪型をオーダーする方法を教えてもらいました。
動画を何度もチェックして練習につかってください。

How long you want leave your hair.
This is very important part when you are ordering hair style.
どのくらいの長さにするか。
これは、髪型をオーダーする上で、とても重要なポイントです。

【part of your head】を【XX】mmにしてください。
【part of your head】/o/　【XX】/miri ni shite kudasai/

#part of your head#
side = よこ　/yoko/
back = うしろ /ushiro/
top = うえ　/top/

「おまかせ(/omakase/)」is "leaving it up to ----"

If you want let your barber do whatever they think it suite you. 

Then the phrase you use is.... 

「おまかせで　おねがいします　（/omakase de onegai shimasu/)」
